Welcome to the Partnership For A Tobacco-Free Maine "Tobacco Intervention: Basic Skills Training" online program. This online program represents the first of two parts of the Basic Skills Training. Part Two is conducted as an in-person training which is delivered at one of several sites throughout the state. As part of the registration process, you will be asked to choose which in-person training you plan to attend. The dates and sites for the in-person trainings are:

9/16/09 - Shiretown Motor Inn, Houlton

9/30/09 - Ramada Bangor, Bangor

10/14/09 - Holiday Inn, Ellsworth

10/28/09 - Highland Lake Resort, Bridgton

11/10/09 - Hilton Garden Inn, Auburn (special focus on teens)

3/1/2010 - Hilton Garden Inn, Freeport

3/25/2010 - Clarion Hotel, Portland

Participants must have completed Part One (the online training) prior to attendance of Part Two (the in-person training). Please contact the training program at 662-5224 if you have questions

Instructions

All participants are required to register to begin the online program. Click the "Register" button to the right. This will bring you to the registration page, including instructions on how to pay by credit card. If you prefer not to pay by credit card online, please contact the Center For Tobacco Independence via phone (662-5224) or e-mail ( HENDRR@mainehealth.org ) and we will be happy to assist you with registration.

Once registered, you will receive access to the online training modules. Note that each module will need to be completed in order to proceed to the next module. If at anytime you would like to pause the training program you can logout. and will be required to login upon your return.Upon logging back in you will be able to pick up where you left off.
